Aim & Scope

The journal aims to bridge the gap between traditional historiography and contemporary heritage studies. By providing a digital space for high-quality research in English, it seeks to foster a global dialogue on local, national, and international histories. Our scope includes, but is not limited to:

1. Ancient, Medieval, and Modern History.
2. Socio-economic and Political History.
3. Cultural Heritage and Oral Traditions.
4. Post-colonial and Subaltern Studies.
5. Regional histories (with a special focus on the undivided Bengal and the Indian Subcontinent).

Publication Frequency

To maintain a high standard of scholarship and a consistent flow of academic discourse, History and Heritage is published twice a year (Biannual). Each issue is meticulously curated to reflect the latest trends and findings in historical research.
